I accidentally made realplayer the default program that is to run when I
connect my mp3 player. How do I change the default program to another
program of my choosing?

Control Panel > Folder Options > File Types and scroll down to MP3 and
change the association.

ummm i'm not sure if you fully understood .. I'm not looking to be able
to double click an mp3 file on my computer and have a program play that
song .. I want to be able to plug in my mp3 player. and have a default
program come up so i can move files to and from the player.

The default for just playing the songs is already musicmatch. Which is
what i want (and what you described). but when I plug in the mp3 player
into the usb port. realplayer runs. I don't want that . I need musicmatch.

If the drive-letter is shown in My Computer for the mp3 player, then
right-click the drive, and choose Properties. Click the Autoplay tab, and
choose the desired application there.
