What's it changing from and to? I have a situation where the default
printers are networked printers and when anyone in my company logs into a
different computer for the first time the default printer is set to the
Microsoft Office Document Image Writer.
I asked about that on this group last year and it was suggested that it has
something to do with my network and how Windows doesn't see the network
printers at the right time during boot so it picks the first local printer
in the list. In our case that's the Document Image Writer. I haven't found
a solution to this yet but you may be seeing something similar.
