Default Printer Issue

Hello All,

I have a user that would like to have a Network Printer as
her default, but use another local laser as her "Check
Printer" . When she prints from her check writing program
(which includes NO controls for printer selection,
etc...), Windows likes to remember that printer as the
last used and keeps it as the current selection for the
rest of Windows' Applications, (so they print on the check
Printer) until manually told otherwise.

Is there a Registry setting (or Batch File, Script,
Utility, etc...) available to control the behavior so she
does not have to manually swith back and forth ?

Eduardo,

Are you looking for a utility to switch the default printer? If you
are, have a look on www.jddesign.co.uk for the Set Default Printer
utility (SetDefPr).
