My default printer keeps changing to Document Image
Writer, even though I have repeatedly changed it to my
local inkjet printer. This was not happening before I
installed Office 2003. Is this a known problem? I
searched Google but did not see mention of it.

Thanks for any help.

Same problem here for one of my users. I've tried deleting and reinstalling the default printer (laserjet 4), setting it as default from the admin account, etc. BUT every reboot the Office Document Image Writer takes over as default printer again.

VERY annoying bug. A fix or resolution would be nice.

I am having the same problem with a lot of my users, Office Document Image
Writer takes over as default printer again and again. I had previously
installed Office 2003 in the Pc's and this has start to happening after
install the Sp1 for Office.

Any ideas are welcome

Thanks a lot
Monica

network printer, no matter how I set it. Both his profile, and th
admin profile. I've check the registry for the default keys alread
under devices. Very annoyed at this moment. hopefully someone can hel
