default player

WHat do i need to do to make wimdows media player open the audio cd after I
insert it?
I have tried to click on properties,then autoplay, then select WMP and check
the 'always do this..." but dell jukebox opens the cds and starts to play
them as soon as inserted.
DOnt know the simple solution. Am I missing a step?
winxp home sp1 and have wmp 8
One more question, should I upgrade to 10. what are the pros to do
so??thanks
