Hi,
After each time a user logs off, the default papersize for the networked
printers are set to Letter instead of A4. Since normal users do not have
permissions so change this setting, they can't print normally.
If a users logs on to the network as a normal user (not a RDP Client), the
papersize is set correctly on the client (inherited from the server when the
printer is installed on the client).
When logged on as administrator, who can change the settings, all paper
formats are set to A4 (both Device Settings tab and Preferences > Advanced
Settings button) and printing is normal.
The printer driver used is the default Windows 2000 Terminal Server driver
for a HP LaserJet 4 Plus, no other printers are configured. All are
connected through JetDirects and standard MS TCP/IP ports.
1. Why does this happen?
2. How can I force A4 as the default papersize for all paper inputs on all
printers?
