By default, Windows 2000 creates the default entry of 224.0.0.0 in the
routing table. Is there a way to prevent this entry from being
created in the routing table?

we need more information to help. please post the result of routing table
and ipconfig /all here.

I don't think so. Is there a specific reason you want to?

Hi, Marc. I've have a server with three nic cards. I need to disable
multicast on all but one nic card. The default route is causing
problems when it is trying to locate the ghost server. Everything
works great when we delete the default entry. Is there a way that you
can disable multicast on a per nic card basis?
