Default media player

On my computer files which are .wmv show up in the folder as BS Player files
and I want to change that to Windows Media Player. How do I do this?

Tools is on the Menu Bar. Mine shows as "File|View|Play|Tools|Help"
(using Classic Menus on WMP11)
If you don't see the menu bar because you use a different view, then
right-click an unused spot on the bar containing Media Guide and Tools
will be an option.
