default mail - how?

Legalbits Mail

The option to make windoes mail the default email program is greyed out. I
want it to be my default mail. I uninstalled windows outlook.

How do I make it windoes mail the default email program?

Tools | Options | General tab
look at the bottom. Make it the default email
