Hi,
I've a problem. when i try to compose a message using
outlook with a default html signature and compose mail in
html format, i get a default line space of one line. i
mean there is a line's gap. how can we change it??? does
any body know???

When you create your signature and want to go to a different line use
SHIFT+ENTER to create a line break. An ENTER will create a new paragraph so
it will skip a line.

A blank line between paragraphs is normal for HTML format text (check 80% of the web pages out there). If you don't want that spacing, either use WordMail as your editor and control the paragraph spacing with Format | Paragraph or use stationery that includes an embedded <style> that sets the paragraph spacing to what you want.

Sue - using Wordmail and its paragraph formatting (to 0 points before and after each paragrahp) does not alleviate the HTML ('add one extra line') problem. An easy test of this is to create a message with paragraph formatting set to 0 pts before and after. Type some simple paragraphs and press enter twice to separate the paragraphs (add one line between paragraphs). Send the message to yourself

When you receive your message, save or move it to a task. Note the extra lines - there are now two lines between paragraphs

Creating a new Word style where you specifiy 6 pts before and after each paragraph seems to work (only press enter once betweeen paragraphs) with this caveat: email clients that use plain text will show your message without any spaces between the paragraphs

There has to be a better solution for such a simple problem.
