Using XP Professional

I have a recurring problem with a program overwriting my
default home page. It does not seem to be causing any
harm but I want rid in case it leaves a path open for some
other virus.

The pages that appear is a choice between luckysearch.net
and global-finder.cc

The address at the top of my browser appears as :-

http://acc.count-all.co%
6d/%2d%2d/?%79%64%74%66%73

and my Internet options say : about:blank

I have been able to get rid of it using regedit and
deleting the search options under
Software/Microsoft/InternetExplorer and this works for one
day (even if you turn off 5 or 6 times in that day). But
next working day back to square one.

I have also performed clean boot using msconfig

So my guess is it attaches itself to some sort of startup
datechange which then adds the lines to my registry file
but I don't know where to find it.

Any ideas anyone? & thanks in advance

You have either a virus, adware or spyware installed on your system
(probably AdWare). Use an AdWare removal utility (SpyBot's Search & Destroy
is free and excellent).
