After selecting my default homepage, the scan finds
anything except MSM a potential hijacker. Does anyone
else have this problem?

It's not a problem, it is a feature. It is detecting any changes to the
browser that deviate from your establised defaults. Open Microsoft
AntiSpyware and click on Tools / Advanced Tools / Browser Hijack Settings
Restore. The one you are concerned about at the moment is the one for
"Start Page". The software "sees" whatever url is listed in the right side
column as the default that you intend to protect. If you look in the lower
right section of the screen you should see a link "Change Restore Settings
to a new url". Click on that and enter the URL you want it to protect.
While you are here, look over the rest of the list as they will behave the
same way. You can customize this list to suit your needs. You may have to
close and restart the spyware software to effect the change.

If you go into the advanced section of the program you can
change it. I see no proble with this since several
spyware programs reset the IE browser back to its default
msn.com. Ad-aware SE sets it back to msn.com by default.
And just like MS antispyware you can change the default by
going into the advanced tools.
