Default for Custom Animation

Is it possible to set the default values in Custom Animation? If I
have 50 slides, I find myself setting Property, Speed, etc - 50 times.

Can I set it and apply the values or can I have the panel begin
showing with the animation values I want.

Using PowerPoint 2002 on Win XP.

If the elements to be animated is on the master (placeholders, etc.) you can
set up the animation there. It will then be automatically applied to each
slide and run before any other animation.

And if it's NOT on the slide master???

Then you pretty much have to do it by hand each time. Sorry :(
(Though, if there are several slides using the same elements, you could make
an alternate master with those elements and do the animation there. I know
that isn't likely to help, but it is the best I can do...)

PowerPoint does not have the specific capability that you are looking for.
Although some defaults can be customized (such as using the Options dialog)
other defaults (such as default settings for each animation effect) are
built-in and cannot be customized and require manual or VBA workarounds.

If you (or anyone else reading this message) think that PowerPoint should
provide more control over various default behaviors, settings, etc.
(without have to resort to VBA or 3rd party add-ins), don't forget to send
