Default Fonts

Honestly, not even thinking of consequences, I deleted some fonts, some of
them the WindowsXP default fonts. This has created problems for me in some
applications.

I have a Sony Vaio, 3 years old. No Windows XP disc came with it.

I do have:

3 Application Recovery CD's
3 System Recovery CD's
1 Click to DVD Recovery CD

I have used the built in System Restore once, just recently, as I
uninstalled a program that must have taken a needed file. I do not dare use
this again to go back to the several months ago when I deleted the fonts. I
have done too much work on an existing website.

Can I safely restore the fonts from an Application Recovery CD?

I can't answer your question about the Application Recovery CD since I
don't know how it is built, whether it is the actual application
installation media or just an image. It will be probably be OK. Here
