Default Font & Measurements

I'm using Access 2002 and want to change the default measurement for Forms &
Reports to imperial (inches) instead of metric...also I want to change the
default font...when I look under Tools, Options and click on Forms/Reports
it shows Arial but that is not what shows when I open a new form in design
view. I also do not know where to look for the "Normal" template - I have
searched my whole computer (well, a slight exaggeration).

Access reads the measurement unit from Windows.
To change it, open the Control Panel, and go to Regional Options.

To set the default font for a new form, create a new form and set the
Properties of the text box in the Toolbox. Repeat for other controls (combo,
label, ...). Save the form (which still has no actual controls on it), and
name it as the template under Tools | Options | Forms/Reports.

Personally, I find that result does not go far enough, so here's what I
