Thanks, but I am talking about changing the folder that
Outlook defaults to when you click the attachment button.
It currently defaults to My Documents which is burried
several layers deep under Documents and Settings and it
always takes several seemingly unecessary clicks to
navigate to where I need to be.
Outlook defaults to the My Documents folder. If you change the My Documents folder to a different location, Outlook will use that instead. It takes a registry change, but there are a couple of tools to make it easy. See http://www.slipstick.com/config/attachfolder.htm. Note that the change will affect other Windows programs that use the My Documents folder and, according to the MSKB article at http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=280985, may not make much difference in Outlook 2002.
