How can I get a field "recipient name" to default to the value held in another field on the same form ("payee name")?
G Guest Jan 16, 2006 #2 KJB, Set the Recipient Name default value in the AfterUpdate event of the Payee Name field: Me![Recipient Name].DefaultValue = Me![Payee Name] If it's possible that existing records have a blank Recipient Name, put the code in the form's On Current event as well.
