Default E-mail Folder View

There should be an option in Outlook 2007 that allows users to setup a
default e-mail folders view. So that a user does not have to enter each
individual folder in order to make them all look the same, with the same
formatted and sized columns, categorized by the same groups, etc. Of course,
individual custom views set for a folder will override the template/default
view for all folders.

That option already exists in Outlook 2003 and possibly 2002.

Really? How do I go about doing that then?

I have yet to find a way to be able to setup my folder viewing preferences
for one e-mail folder and then select the current view to become the
preferred/default view for all of my other e-mail folders.
