Obviously when a computer is joined to a domain it is
automatically made a memember of the "domain computers"
group.

Is there a way to have a computer automatically made a
member of another group when it joins a domain?

Thanks,
Jeff

Jeff,

If you pre-create the computer account in a specific container of your
domain the user will get prompted that the account already exists and if he
wants to join the system to the domain. This will allow to place the sytem
into a specific computer container. Otherwise you only have the option to
join the default domain container and then manually move the computer to
the desired container.
The other option is an unattended installation script, where you can
specify the computer container to join.

Hope this helps,
