For Windows 2000 or Windows XP, the default computer account password change period is every 30 days
Does anyone know how to change the default period

for XP, it is easy. Simply edit the Local Security policy and under Security settings --> Local Policy --> Security options there is a policy
Domain Member: Maximum machine account password ag

But for Windows 2000 servers, how does one change the default period

Any help would be greatly appreciated

See NT tip 1710 in the 'Tips & Tricks' at http://www.jsiinc.com which should
work for W2K, WinXP, etc....
