I normally use www.altavista.com as my default Internet
Explorer browser homepage. Now each time I fire up my PC,
the default browser page is http://www.best.omega-
search.com/, obviously something that intruded into my
system while online. I have tried the usual steps in
setting my default browser page through tools functions,
etc. U have even located the folder containing this item
and deleted it. I also use Ad-Aware, Spyware Blaster, and
Avast anti-viral scanner to stop intrusions by malwares,
spywares, etc. I clear my tmp files, cookies, etc., amd
also regualrly wash my hard drive with Active Disk Wiper.
But omega-seaarch keeps cropping up, and I also pick up
three new items on my Favorites list that are somehow
associated with omega-search. Any ideas on how I can
defeat this intrusive browser page?
