default account Outlook 2000

Hi, we have Outlook 2000 on our computer and there's always a prompt asking
to choose the default account on one of them. I check the box "Make this the
default account" every time but it doesn't stand. I only have one account on
this computer.

Open Control Panel and select Mail
Click Show Profiles
Select Always use this profile. Choose the profile you want in the combobox.
