I attempted to change the icon for file folders the other
day, and despite not touching anything to do with the
actions for folder, my default action was changed
to "Search". So now, I have to right click and
select "Open" or browse through the directory tree in the
Folders sidebar. Going back to Folder Options> File Types
gives me no apparent options to set the default action
back. Can I fix this without reinstalling Windows?

Thanks! In addition to solving my problem, I swear file
browsing in general is faster. What did this change, in a
nutshell? If you read this, and wouldn't mind, send the
response to (e-mail address removed)

I forget to check back on this place... mainly because
these forums simply do not WORK in anything but IE, which
is ridiculous.

Resets hundreds of registry keys to factory default settings. Folder verb default to 'search' is fixed as well.
