I am using the above not heavily both are
working ok.
I have a DVD writer cd drive which is recognised by these burners and there
is no
problems with Cd discs of 650 and 700 MBs.
But both these burners do not recognise the
4.7GB disccs.
In BIOS it is Auto set. I had a easy cd before.
Can someone please pinpoint the possible
causes?

Maybe there's a problem with the writer trying to recognise the disc.
What type of discs have you tried? Does your writer use the + or -
format or both?

I've had the same problem with DeepBurner and Burn4Free. I think this is
because I am using DVD's that are not on the "Approved List" for my burner.
They both return "No Disk in Drive" errors. Neither does Windows XP's
built-in burning recognize these DVD's.

Strangely, BurnAtOnce works! I can burn up to 4.3 GB on a 4.7 DVD with no
problems.

It clearly stated on the package that it is for
both formats. I am trying +ReWritable and
non Rewritable ones.
The error message is Writer error illegal request or somethibg like that.
