decommisssion domain controller

I have two dc's in my domain that I want to replace with
newer boxes. Both are global catalogs, and both run
internal dns for my network. Does anyone know of a good
article to use for this process, or can someone give me
straight up details?

Install the new boxes as member servers then run dcpromo on them and install
DNS and make them GC.
Transfer your FSMO roles to the new servers and all other services and data
you might need. Last, run dcpromo on your old servers to demote them.
