decimal places in page & table set up

I'm trying to set up a page size and also a table that include eighths of
inches in the dimensions. I'm unable to do so because it seems Word 2000
only uses two decimal places, not three. Is this something I can change in
an "option" somewhere that I can't find at the moment?

Hi Maggie,

Although Word only displays to two decimal places, I think you'll find that
you can use three - the display just rounds to two.

Yes, but if I'm using a custom page size and want the rows to be
2.375 inches high, rounding them to 2.38 makes a significant
difference in the page length.
 
The table row height is shown in inches by default, but you can enter
the dimension in points (1" = 72 pt, so 2.375" = 171.00 pt, and 2.38" =
171.36 pt). Still just two decimal points, but a much more precise base
unit of measure. Table | Table Properties | Row | Specify height: 171
pt
 
As I said, it is only the displayed dimension that is rounded to two decimal
places. If you specify 2.375 inches high, that's what you'll get, but the
dimensions box will show it as 2.38 inches high.
