I stumbled on this site, which I cannot remember seeing mentioned in acf.
Regular acfers will be familiar with many of the programs listed, but there
are some which may be new to you.

I like the cool little animated anchorwoman at this site! She is
dutifully informing us of something -- I assume she's reading the text
beneath her.

This is indeed a worthwhile site, IMHO.

Your signature still isn't right:-)
Neither is Frank's for that matter

Thanks, PL! I think I'm moving into "despair mode" at this point! If
I hand-type it, it seems fine, but if I "macro" it, it doesn't seem to
come out right. I'll have to work on this. (I use the for-pay macro
program "Macro Express".

Whole bunch of neat screen savers at that site too:

http://decentdownloads.x-istence.com/Screensavers/Screensavers.html

However, beware that the "Don't Touch My Computer" (actually "Don't
Touch My Computer 2") installs shortcuts on your desktop and entries in
your start menu without asking you. I also read that it doesn't contain
any spyware though.

I also noticed several Freeze.com screen savers. According to this site:

http://www.doxdesk.com/parasite/FavoriteMan.html

Freeze.com bundles some bad stuff with at least one of its screen
savers. In fact, Googling:

http://tinyurl.com/bwn4m

seems to indicate that Freeze.com is not a good place to get screen
savers from.

I couldn't care less whether signatures conform to archaic rules, and I
think it is probable that the vast majority of group members think likewise.
I will ignore any future ravings on this subject , which are not about
freeware, and recommend that ggdbr01 and others do likewise.
