Debug

I recently posted a question re one of the components of Roxio Creator 2009,
Cineplayer. This component displays the splash screen for a short time then
closes. The closing message from Microsoft includes a "Debug" button. I
have no idea what happens when I accept this option - there is no indication
of activity nor any message. Has debug gathered information that might help
with a solution, and if so where do I locate the output?

How about calling Roxio or visiting their support site?
 
I have called Roxio and searched their forums without any success. My
question is not how to fix the problem but rat her, how to make use of Debug
in this case (or any other time).
