I have been fighting this problem for a week now and still
cannot figure out how they are posting these files in my
system32 directory and hide the service to run. I can shut
down and start in MS DOS mode and attrib the files then
remove them but sometimes they show back up. I am trying
to find the root of the problem so I can stop it at that
level. Is anyone else fighting this problem since mid
February. You will have files that show up in the
system32 dirctory that are def.exe def.ini, defkill.exe,
reg.exe, kerb.exe, bugslayerutil.dll, servuftp components
and registry endtries. Files named pack.exe, yank.exe and
several dat files one being send.dat, bon.dat and a
logon.cmd file. There are a few others but I do now have
my sheet in front of me. These are some nasty files to
remove and a pain to deal with, and help would be greatly
appreciated. Thank You.
