I gonna inform groups of deaf people about myself not able to use the
movie maker esp if they do not have sound card in their pc.

I would never want sound card or need one because Im deaf :D

but this movie maker is only ONE software that i have problem with.

I already upgraded my movie player to 2 and am disappointed that I
cant run it at all because of no sound card on my pc. this is not fair
!!!

refer http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;269591
for your info.

the movie maker software may be violating Americans With Disabilites
Act Law in USA.

the developers better make a patch for people who do not have sound
card in their pc.

Thank you

Yes, deaf people CAN use movie maker.... if their system
meets the minimum requirements posted below:

You know something funny? Blind people use computers all
the time and never complain about having to have a
monitor attached to their computer.

The recommended system requirements for Movie Maker are:
56.6-KBps or faster modem with current Internet
connection (Windows Movie Maker option)
CD-ROM drive
Sound card
Speakers or headphones
Microsoft Mouse or compatible pointing device
SVGA Monitor (*VGA monitor)
Pentium II 300-MHz processor or better (*Pentium 150 MHz)
64 megabytes (MB) of RAM (*32 MB)
2 gigabytes (GB) of free hard-disk space (*320 MB)
Good quality microphone (Windows Movie Maker option)
Video capture device (Windows Movie Maker option)
