Does anyone know how deadgateway detection works in 2k?
Specifically, is it smart enough to see past it's own next
hop? Multihomed system connected to a firewall, which is
then in turn connected to Cable AND DSL. The firewall
isn't smart enough to tell if one gateway is down, and
automatically failover. Will 2k simply see that the
firewall is up, and decide all is good? Or will it see
that nothing is coming from the internet, and call it bad,
then switch over?
Help/suggestions/miracles welcome
