Deactivate Energy Save Mode?

Is the "act" of deactivating energy save mode part of XP
or the brand of computer?

If it is part of XP, then how would I do this?

I have been told by Norcent (RW581 model) that the error
message that I am getting when tring to burn audio files
could be causing the error message. The message
is "power calibration error"

Any insite?

You can disable power management features in the Control Panel > Power
Options. Also you may find such settings being activated in the CMOS
setup ("BIOS").
