Hard to say. I have the deluxe and Im using at the moment
1 -Kbyte 512 3200
1- Kingston 512 3200
1 - Crucial 256 2100 OCed to 3200
The weirdest mishmash you can have and it works fine.
In the "old days" which was a a year and even 6 months ago - you can
still see the posts , people seemed to be having tons of problems with
memory , power supplies and motherboards. Seems like whenever a new
mem speed , motherboard , CPU , graphics card comes out - it has tons
of problems initially for obvious reasons -- its new.
Not sure if mem, motherboards, bios , drivers /WIN XP support - or
whatever has improved but I dont have any problems at all with memory.
In fact my Crucial 2100 which I bought a year ago works so well at
3200 which shocked me - I decided to keep it and use one stick. I only
3 slots. Im going to now keep the crucial for the other PC I have
since I can then push it up to 3200 when I get a new CPU for it.
In the old days people would get one huge stick because they would say
using two slots caused problems or so and so slot . And they would get
certain types of mem etc. Lots of problems. Cant say if youll have
these problems but Im not having any big problems with mem.
Mine is the rev 2 version with the latest bios.
