DDR and SDRAM

NO. They have a different number of pins and use different voltages. Good
way to fry your electronics.

No problem if you a) have a rubber mallet b) aren't afraid to destroy
hundreds worth of hardware.

DDR has 184 pins
SDRAM has 168 pins

A few motherboards, like the ECS K7S5A/Pro allow the use of one type or the
other, in two types of RAM slots.

I have 3 of these. Only one type of RAM can be used, not both
installed at the same time. Go with one or the other.
