will buy a 400 RAM for my board. Is there really a big difference between CL
2.5 and CL 3 RAMs? I also heard that the voltage level the RAM works is also
very important which restricts the DDR 400 RAM you can use. Should I stick
to what the ASUS website says?

Is there a considerable difference between the CL 2.5 and 3? is it worth the
price different to go CL 2.5 ? Would this at any rate be affected by an
overclocked system? (Barton 2500)

Sorry, all I can say is GOOD QUESTION! When I ordered my board, the
website retailer "offered"
to bundle the C3 Kingston memory. Then I find out Asus doesn't advocate C3.
My system is not running at full bore as I wait for a new HSF.
I had the BIOS tell me "Performance DDR timing enabled" but
had some freezes, so I backed off.

I would pay the extra money in retrospect for CL 2.5.
