DDNS is not updating

Hello All,
I have recently switched to a new subnet for one of my sites. Some of my client stations at this site are not updating DNS registrations based on the new subnet. Is there any reason why this would be happening?

As a workaround for this situation as urgency is required is there a way that I can script a "forced" registration of DNS for client stations.
Can I simply creat a batch file and run ipconfig /registerdns or can I write a script to restart netlogon service on all machines not registering?

TIA,
Altria

BTW, runnnig AD win2k3 and winxpsp2 clients

Are the clients reporting any error in event log?
If you manually force registration, do the updates happen? If yes, is the
DHCP client service running on those clients?
Do the clients get the correct DNS servers from DHCP?
