DDE Server Window: Outlook.exe-no disk

I get a pop up window with the above message every time I open Outlook
This was created when I exported my contacts to a 3½ as a one-time event

It does not affect the performance, but it is annoying. How can I get rid of it? Is there a better way to back up those precious *.PST files in case the next, newest worm wants to screw that up?
 
I'm not familiar with 31/2 - but it sounds like Outlook is trying to load
it. Look in tools, options, other, advanced - addins and com addins. Is it
checked in either list? If so, uncheck it.

if that doesn't help, we'll need more information about this program.
 
Save an attachment and/or export something from within Outlook to your My
Documents folder and restart Outlook and see if it still prompts you. If
this solved it Outlook tried to access the last location you accessed with
Outlook which is the floppy drive.

Mea Culpa

I tried waht Roady said, and I still get the same pop up with the internal message, "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive A:." Earlier, I also tried to save the same *.pst folder into my seldom-used E:\ partition to stop the message pop up. Didn't work, either

If I did not make that clear before, double mea culpa.
 
You saved a pst-file to a floppy? Make sure it is not connected to Outlook
then.

How do I un do it, Roady

If I have the floppy in the drive, then all is OK because Outlook "sees" the floppy, and the file

If there is NO floppy, I get the choice of retry, cancel or continu

Either way, I still have that annoying pop up. Should I re install a hot patch

In Outlook right click the Personal Folder in the Folder List and choose
Close Personal Folders. Now restart Outlook to release the lock on it and
you should be able to restart Outlook without the floppy disk and without
errors.
