Hi,
I have just purchased a new Pentium M 1.4 GHz system with 1 GB RAM and a
60 GB hard disk running Windows XP Pro.
One of the applications I run is AutoCAD 2002. It installs OK, and I
have applied all the service patches for it and XP Pro.
On closing the program an alert pops up
-------------------------------------------------------------------
DDE Server Window: acad.exe Application error
The instruction at <mem addr 1> referenced memory at <mem addr 2>.
The memory could not be "written"
-------------------------------------------------------------------
This alert dialog pops up twice.
The values of mem addr 1 are the same whenever the alert pops up as is
the value of mem addr 2.
To eliminate any physical memory problem, I have run MemTest-86 and
after over an hour of testing, no errors were reported.
I am trying to figure out if this is a WinXP Pro problem or an AutoCAD
problem. Neither knowledgebase has anything specific on this.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.
