Dd3 and Dd5 files

Noticing enormous banks of Dd3 and Dd5 files. I can not
access them with Search. I would like to know what they
are, and if I need them. Can they be deleted? And can I
prevent them from accumulating? When I do full system
scan in Norton there are 100's of them.

Ray, have you checked out this issue over at the Symantec online support
area yet? Since the files appear when running Norton's full scan, it appears
that it is the program creating them.

A search on google also shows some reports of Kazaa creating files with
these names. May want to do an online virus scan in addition to the Norton
full scan. If some nasty made it past your antivirus program, it may have
altered the antivirus program's effectiveness:
