DCOMbobulator......is it worth having?

DCOMbobulator.....anybody know if this is a wothwhile prog?
what can it screw up if i download this???
any experiences???

From personal experience.
It works. It switches off DCOM which you'll probably never need.
It patches a security vulnerability.
However. On an XP Pro system with SP2 applied...
It couldn't make out what to do.
YMMV.

Because winxp with pack 2 doesnt need it:)

My copy says "Windows XP with Service Pack 2
is Not Vulnerable."

Used it to remove the DCOM vulnerability from all the computers at work.
Never had a problem with it, and we're talking hundreds of computers.
