DCOM times out

It seems that Iam unable to load up DCOM during start up due to the following message in Event Veiwer. I dont really understand what it is saying, could someone translate the following into more basic terms please:
"DCOM infrastructure tried to start the named server; however, the server did not reply within the required timeout period. There might be a deadlock, or the program might not have responded to the server initialization code within the timeout period of two minutes."

Hello Ken,

Can you paste the entire Event Log in here and make sure the Event ID is
there also?
