Hi
On one Windows 2003 server I have several error messages of that type each
day. The described "communication problems" do not occur between a
workstation/server and this server but between UNIX servers, printers, SAN
libraries and that server. I only found the following information concerning
that problem on the Microsoft support site.
Everything seems to work fine, so should I care ?
....and if yes, what should I do ?
Thanks for your advices
Nicolas
----------------------------------------------------------
Event Message:
DCOM was unable to communicate with the computer computer name using any of
the configured protocols.
Source Event Log Event ID Event Type
DCOM System 10009 Error
Explanation:
The network connections may not be configured properly.
User Action:
Check the network connections. Check the Registry under HKEY Local
Machine/Software/Microsoft/RPC/DCOM Protocols for the list of RPC protocol
sequences.
