Question regarding an error in the NCSecDesc portion of
the DCDiag test while running the E2K3 deployment tools.
Our setup: 1 W2K forest, 2 W2K domains: ROOT.net(empty
forest root) + ABC.com (working domain)
Running DCDiag from W2K3 member server in ABC.com as a
domain admin produces the following error in the NCSecDesc
test in DCDiag:
Starting test: NCSecDesc
Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS
doesn't have
Replicating Directory Changes All
access rights for the naming context:
CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=root,DC=net
Error BUILTIN\Administrators doesn't have
Replicating Directory Changes All
access rights for the naming context:
CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=root,DC=net
Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS
doesn't have
Replicating Directory Changes All
access rights for the naming context:
CN=Configuration,DC=root,DC=net
Error BUILTIN\Administrators doesn't have
Replicating Directory Changes All
access rights for the naming context:
CN=Configuration,DC=root,DC=net
If anyone can enlighten me on how to correct this
situation or what the problem is I'd really appreciate it.
Note - all other DCDiag tests pass.
