DC with GC died. Will other DC be GC ?

Hello...

With the other DC out of the loop, i went into ntds settings > properties
and checked the GC box. Will this work ? if it cant get the GC from the other
DC ?
Any help is greatly appreciated... because of thie issue i cant bring
exchange up at all, because it cant find a DC..

Yes this will work.

Do you plan on recovering the old server? If not you will have to clean up
AD and transfer any fsmo roles that resided on the old server. If you need
assistance on this post back.

reboot the DC after it is ready building the GC data... this is a
known with w2k
