I'm currently setting up a Windows 2003 Active Directory. The automated build that we use for servers sets them to sync with a specific time server in our organization
When the servers are promoted to Domain Controllers, will they continue synching time with the server they were set to, or will they automatically switch to look at the PDCE? If I run w32tm /config on the PDCE, will that make any difference to the other domain controllers? Are there any implications if I leave the DC's synching with a single time source that does not reside in the domain? If there are, how should I change them to begin looking to the PDCE for their time
Thanks for any help you can provide
