All;
How difficult is it to remove a DC from an AD domain? Here's the situation
if you have time to read on..
Once there was an NT4 machine running as the PDC, it then was upgraded and
became a Win2k Server with AD enabled. Next a new machine came to the
network and was also installed as a DC. A year or so later a third machine
at a different site was added as a DC to help with logons across a WAN link.
Now the first machine is having ALOT of problem, way to many to fix, if they
are even fixable. How difficult is it to just remove the first machine as a
DC and make it a file server in the domain ( Which it already does as a part
of it's tasks.)
Any advice on what steps to take to accomplish this, or does this involve a
complete reinstall ??
HELP!
Thanks
