I have my domain controller behind a firewall where the
public IP is say 66.1.1.50 and the actual IP the
controller NIC gets is 192.168.1.50

My problem is that if a PC on the internet tries to join
the domain the active directory DNS resolves the private
IP and not the public to the PC. IE from the internet I
can connect to 192.168.1.50 but only 66.1.1.50 I need the
controller to resolve the public IP for itslef.

I know I could setup a VPN so I get a interior IP but I
woould rather not do that. Any suggestions ?

Please repy to the email above

Thanks for any help, Simon

The normal method is the VPN.
