I like to know How can I verify global catalog performace and dc performace??

You can use the DCDIAG tool to perform tests on your AD components. It's
available in the WIndows 2000 Support Tools located on the W2k CDROM under
the support folder. Just install it and go to a cmd prompt and type in:

dcdiag /v
or to send it to a text file:
dcdiag /v > c:\dcdiag.txt

It won't show performance but it shows if there are any directory services
or component errors with AD.

If you simply want to ensure that the domain controller is operating without
any errors, please use the DCDIAG support tool.

There are also a number of Active Directory-related performance counters
within the Performance Monitor tool that may be of assistance to you.
