DBR doesnt show previous work

Using FP2000, sometimes when I make a new database results region, put in a
custom query, save it and all, and then come back to check / revise the custom
query, the DBR wizard seems not to "see" the previous work.

I right-click in the database results region, and the wizard wants to start
from scratch -- it doesnt even seem to know which table I was using, let alone
the query I had already in place there.

Any idea what causes this?

At other times, when a query is working fine, if I right-click in the DBR
region, everything is cool, it "sees" the table, the existing query shows up,
life is good.

I prefer the good life ---

I think if you always right-click the yellow bars in the
DBR region and then choose Database Results Properties,
life will significantly improve.

I believe you can only make changes to the gray code area, and then you must
save the page while in HTML view.

To have complete control, you will need to learn to hand code your own ASP.

Hi Tom.

Usually when I click in the yellow area / database results properties, the
Wizard knows and finds the correct table for those database results, and if you
kept clicking your way thru the wiz, it would take you right down the same path
you originally went.

What I cant figure is why sometimes it wont do that, seems to have lost it's
memory of what I did the previous time. Like all I wanted to do is select one
additional field to show up in the results. I know I can fix the gray code to
make it work, or I can just do the wiz again from scratch, but the wiz normally
would make it easy by presenting the previous selections.

For some reason, on this particular database results region, it doesnt.
