dbEngine.CreateWorkspace

I have a VB program that uses the DBEngine.CreateWorkspace command to
authenticate users in SQL Server. We are trying to move that from VB to C#
and I am trying to understand what the equivalent is in C# for the same. Can
anyone throw some light on this.

There is no equivalent to this in the .Net Framework. The object model for
working with data in the .Net Framework is completely different. There are
no workspaces, only Connections, and their associated classes. I would
suggest you read up on ADO.Net:
